Abstract

The article is devoted to the legal protection of copyrights to works created using artificial intelligence (AI), and analyzes the legal gaps that arise in this regard. With the rapid development of technology and the ability to create works without direct human involvement, there is uncertainty about authorship. Different approaches to this issue are being considered in different countries, including the European Union, the United States and Russia. The article suggests possible solutions to the problem, such as recognizing AI as a subject of intellectual property or securing rights for people managing AI systems. Attention is also focused on the need to develop international standards and new copyright protection mechanisms that would take into account the specifics of creating AI works.
